It is narrated from Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abzi (may Allah be pleased with him) on the authority of Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: Allah Almighty has commanded me to recite the Qur'an to you. Hazrat Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: Did my Lord mention my name? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: This is Allah's grace and His mercy, so you should rejoice over it. Hazrat Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite this verse of the Holy Qur'an "Fabizalika falyafrahu" as "Falyafrahu".

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abzi (may Allah be pleased with him) on the authority of Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the Fajr prayer, and during the recitation, he omitted a verse. Hazrat Ubayy had arrived when part of the prayer had already passed. After the prayer, he submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! Has this verse been abrogated, or did you forget it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "No, rather I forgot it."

And he (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed to recite this supplication in the evening as well.
