حَدِيثُ الْخَشْخَاشِ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Al-Khashkhash Al-‘Anbari (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 20769
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُخْبِرٌ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَرِّ ، عَنِ الْخَشْخَاشِ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعِي ابْنٌ لِي ، فَقَالَ : " ابْنُكَ ؟ " قَالَ : قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Khushkhash that once I took my son with me and presented myself before the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Is this your son?" I replied, "Yes, I bear witness to it." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "You will not be held responsible for any crime of his, nor will he be held responsible for any crime of yours."
