حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of a man (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 20748
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَغَزَوْنَا نَحْوَ فَارِسَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ بَاتَ فَوْقَ بَيْتٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ إِجَّارٌ فَوَقَعَ فَمَاتَ ، فَبَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ الذِّمَّةُ ، وَمَنْ رَكِبَ الْبَحْرَ عِنْدَ ارْتِجَاجِهِ فَمَاتَ ، فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ الذِّمَّةُ " .
It is narrated from a companion that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sleeps on the roof of a house that has no parapet, and he falls from it, then no one is responsible for him. And whoever sets out on a sea journey at a time when the sea is turbulent and he dies, then no one is responsible for him either.
Hadith 20749
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ يَعْنِي الدَّسْتُوَائِيَّ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا بِفَارِسَ وَعَلَيْنَا أَمِيرٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ : زُهَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، فَقَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ بَاتَ فَوْقَ إِجَّارٍ أَوْ فَوْقَ بَيْتٍ لَيْسَ حَوْلَهُ شَيْءٌ يَرُدُّ رِجْلَهُ فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ الذِّمَّةُ ، وَمَنْ رَكِبَ الْبَحْرَ بَعْدَ مَا يَرْتَجُّ ، فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ الذِّمَّةُ " .
