Hazrat Abu Zaid Ansari narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me, "Come near to me." I came near, and he said, "Put your hand and touch my back." So I put my hand inside the shirt of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and passed my hand over his blessed back, and the Seal of Prophethood came under my two fingers, which was a cluster of hair.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Zaid that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me, "Come near me." Then he passed his blessed hand over my head and beard and prayed, "O Allah, grant him beauty and grant permanence to his beauty." The narrator says that Hazrat Abu Zaid lived to be over a hundred years old, but only a few hairs of his head and beard turned white, and till his last breath he always kept smiling, and never was any sign of distress seen on his face.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Zaid Ansari that on the day of Eid al-Adha, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was passing between our houses when he smelled the aroma of roasted meat. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Who has slaughtered an animal?" One of us came out and said, "O Messenger of Allah, eating on this day is a necessity, so I slaughtered my animal so that I could eat myself and also feed my neighbors." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Offer the sacrifice again." He said, "By Him besides whom there is no other deity, I have only a six-month-old kid or a pregnant goat." He said this sentence three times, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Then slaughter that, but after you, it will not suffice for anyone else."
