Hadith 20698
It is narrated from a companion of the tribe of Qais that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to us. We had a strong camel that no one could control. The Prophet (peace be upon him) went near it, passed his hand over its udders, and milked it. Then, when my father passed away, the Prophet (peace be upon him) came. At that time, I had already wrapped him in a shroud and tied the shroud with date-palm thorns. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Do not torment your father with thorns." Then he untied the thorns from his chest and threw them away, and applied his saliva to his chest, so much so that I saw its wetness on his chest.
