Hadith 20611
It is narrated from Hazrat Qais bin Asim that when he accepted Islam, the Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed him to perform ghusl (ritual bath) with water and lote tree leaves and then come.
Hadith 20612
Hazrat Qais bin Asim, before his death, advised his children, saying: Fear Allah, appoint the eldest among you as the leader, because when a people appoint their elder as the chief, he proves to be the successor of their father... And when I die, do not wail over me, because wailing was not done over the Prophet (peace be upon him) either.
Hadith 20613
It is narrated from Hazrat Qais bin Asim that he asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about agreements, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There is no validity in Islam for any agreement that causes discord, but fulfill the good agreements from the time of ignorance.

Abdullah narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Ziyad Sabalan narrated to us, 'Abbad ibn 'Abbad narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Mughirah, from his father, from Shu'bah ibn al-Taw'am, from Qays ibn 'Asim, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the like of it.
