The remainder of the hadith of al-Hirmas ibn Ziyad al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 20074
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهِرْمَاسُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي مُرْدِفِي خَلْفَهُ عَلَى حِمَارٍ ، وَأَنَا صَغِيرٌ ، " فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ بِمِنًى عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ الْعَضْبَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Hurmuz bin Ziyad (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivering a sermon on the day of 10th Dhul-Hijjah in the plain of Mina, while he was mounted on a she-camel named Adhba. At that time, my father had seated me behind him and I was a small child.
Hadith 20075
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهِرْمَاسُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَبِي مُرْدِفِي ، " فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بِمِنًى عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ الْعَضْبَاءِ " .
