Hadith 19803
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Abd al-Uzza bin Khatal was clinging to the covering of the Ka'bah, it was I who killed him (by the order of the Prophet, peace be upon him), and on the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had said: "All people are safe except Abd al-Uzza bin Khatal."
Hadith 19804
And I also heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that I will have a cistern whose distance will be as much as between Aylah and Sana'a, and its length and width will both be equal. Two streams from Paradise will flow into it, one of silver and the other of gold. Its water will be sweeter than honey, colder than ice, and whiter than milk. Whoever drinks its water once will not feel thirsty until he enters Paradise, and its cups will be as numerous as the stars in the sky.

Sayyar bin Salalah says that once I was present with my father in the company of Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him). At that time, I had earrings in my ears and I was young. Hazrat Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I thank Allah that I keep reproaching this tribe of Quraysh. Here, such and such a person fights for the sake of the world, meaning Abdul Malik bin Marwan, and he also mentioned Ibn Azraq. Then he said: Among this group, the most beloved to me is the one whose stomach is free from the wealth of Muslims and whose back is not burdened with their blood. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The rulers will be from the Quraysh. When mercy is sought from them, they will show mercy; when they make a promise, they will fulfill it; and when they judge, they will judge with justice. And whoever does not do so, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all mankind.
Hadith 19806
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: May Allah keep the tribe of Aslam safe and forgive the tribe of Ghifar. I am not saying this myself; rather, Allah Almighty has said this.
Hadith 19807
Ubaydullah bin Ziyad once asked Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him), "Have you heard anything from the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding the Hawd (Pond) of Kawthar?" He replied, "Yes! Not just once or twice. Now, whoever denies it, may Allah not let him drink from this Hawd."

Shareek bin Shihab (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I had a desire to meet a companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him) who would narrate to me a hadith about the Khawarij. So, on the day of Arafah, I met Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him) along with some of his companions. I said to him, "O Abu Barzah! If you heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say anything regarding the Khawarij, please narrate that hadith to us." He said, "I will narrate to you the hadith which my ears heard and my eyes saw. Once, some dinars came to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he was distributing them. There was a black man there whose hair was cut short, he was wearing two white garments, and there were marks of prostration between his eyes (on his forehead). He came before the Prophet (peace be upon him), but the Prophet did not give him anything. He came from the right side, but the Prophet did not give him anything. He came from the left side and from behind, but still the Prophet did not give him anything. Seeing this, he said, 'By Allah, O Muhammad (peace be upon him), today, since you have been distributing, you have not done justice.' At this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) became extremely angry and said, 'By Allah! After me, you will not find anyone more just than me.' He repeated this sentence three times. Then he said, 'Some people will emerge from the east, and perhaps he is among them, and their appearance will be like this. They will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go beyond their throats. They will leave the religion as an arrow leaves its prey; they will not return to it.' Saying this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) placed his hand on his chest. 'Their sign will be shaving the head. These people will continue to emerge in every era until the last of them appears. When you see them, kill them.' He said this three times. 'And they are the worst of creation.' He said this three times.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that Julaibib used to pass by women and entertain them. I had told my wife that Julaibib should not come to you; if he comes, I will do such and such. It was the custom of the Ansar that they would not marry off any widow until they had informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), to see if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had any need for her. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to an Ansari man, "Marry your daughter to me." He said, "What an honor, O Messenger of Allah! Very well." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I am not asking for her for myself." He asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Then for whom?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "For Julaibib." He said, "O Messenger of Allah! Let me consult the girl's mother." So he went to her mother and said, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is proposing marriage for your daughter." She said, "Very good, our eyes will be cooled." He said, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is not proposing for himself, but for Julaibib." She immediately refused, saying, "By God! Not under any circumstances. Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) not find anyone other than Julaibib? We have already refused such and such proposals." Meanwhile, the girl was listening from behind her veil. After mutual consultation, when the man was about to go and inform the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the girl said, "Will you reject the word of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? If the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is pleased with this, then marry me." With this, she opened her parents' eyes, and they said, "You are right." So her father went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "If you are pleased with this match, then we are also pleased." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I am pleased." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married the girl to Julaibib. Not long after, there was an attack on the people of Madinah. Julaibib also went out mounted. When the battle was over, people were asked, "Do you find anyone missing?" The people said, "O Messenger of Allah! Such and such people are missing." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "But I find Julaibib missing. Look for him." The people searched for him and found him among seven men. Hazrat Julaibib (may Allah be pleased with him) had killed all seven, and then he himself was martyred. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and stood by him and said, "He killed seven men, then the polytheists martyred him. He is from me and I am from him." He repeated this sentence twice. Then, when he was lifted before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lifted him in his arms, and until the burial, the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) arms were the bier for him. The narrator did not mention the washing (ghusl).

He would perform the Asr prayer at such a time that when any one of us returned to his home in Madinah, the sun would still be visible. As for Maghrib, what he said about it I have forgotten. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked to delay the Isha prayer, and he did not like to sleep before it nor to talk after it. And after performing the Fajr prayer, he would finish at such a time that we could recognize the person sitting next to us, and in it he would recite between sixty and one hundred verses."
