Hadith Grading
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to know about the arrival of some goats. He gave me a dinar and sent me to buy a goat. I went there and bargained with the owner of the goats and bought two goats for one dinar. I started driving them back. On the way, I met a man who bargained with me, and I sold him one goat for one dinar. Then, taking the dinar and one goat, I presented myself before the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Here is your dinar and here is your goat." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "How did this happen?" I narrated the whole incident. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Allah, bless him in the dealings of his right hand." After that, a time came upon me when I stood at the garbage heap of Kufa and earned a profit of forty thousand before reaching home. It should be noted that Hazrat Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to trade in slave girls. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
