" وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ كَلَامَكَ يَصْعَدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ حَتَّى فُتِحَ بَابٌ مِنْهَا ، فَدَخَلَ فِيهِ " .

At this, the Muslims began to raise their heads and disliked this person, thinking in their hearts, "Who is this man who is raising his voice above the voice of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)?" When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, he said, "Who is the one who raised his voice?" It was told, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! It was this person." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "By Allah! I saw that your words ascended to the heavens until a door was opened and they entered through it."

They were on that side and we were on this side. We called out to him, saying, "O Firoz! O Firoz!" and said, "O wretch! Your master, Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), is here." He replied, "They would have been good people if they had migrated away from among you." They (the companions) asked, "What is this enemy of Allah saying?" We conveyed his statement to them, so he (Ibn Abi Awfa) said, "Will I migrate again after the migration I made with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" Then he said, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Glad tidings for the one who kills them or whom they kill."
