حَدِيثُ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Anas ibn Malik, a man from Banu Abd Allah ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 19047
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَغَارَتْ عَلَيْنَا خَيْلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ وَهُوَ يَتَغَدَّى ، فَقَالَ : " ادْنُ فَكُلْ " قُلْتُ : إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ، قَالَ : " اجْلِسْ أُحَدِّثْكَ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ أَوْ الصِّيَامِ ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَضَعَ عَنِ الْمُسَافِرِ شَطْرَ الصَّلَاةِ ، وَعَنِ الْمُسَافِرِ وَالْحَامِلِ وَالْمُرْضِعِ الصَّوْمَ أَوْ الصِّيَامَ " . وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ قَالَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كِلَاهُمَا أَوْ أَحَدُهُمَا ، فَيَا لَهْفَ نَفْسِي ، هَلَّا كُنْتُ طَعِمْتُ مِنْ طَعَامِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . .
Hazrat Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, who was from Banu Abdullah bin Ka'b, says: "The cavalry of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, raided us at night. I came to inform the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about this, and he was having breakfast. The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Come and eat.' I said: 'I am fasting.' The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Sit down, I will tell you about fasting. Allah Almighty has excused the traveler from half the prayer, and has excused the traveler, the pregnant woman, and the nursing woman from fasting.' By Allah, the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said both these things or one of them. Alas! Why did I not eat with the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him? The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain."
Hadith 19048
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ وَلَيْسَ بِالْأَنْصَارِيّ ، قَالَ : أَغَارَتْ عَلَيْنَا خَيْلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ . .
Narrated to us by Affan, who said: Narrated to us by Abu Hilal, narrated to us by Abdullah ibn Sawadah, from Anas ibn Malik, a man from Banu Abdullah ibn Ka'b and not from the Ansar, who said: The cavalry of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, raided us, and he mentioned the hadith...
Hadith 19048M
قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : وحَدَّثَنَاه شَيْبَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ ، قَالَ : فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
Abdullah said: And Shayban narrated to us, Abu Hilal narrated to us, he said: and he mentioned something similar to it.
