Hadith of al-Khashkhash al-Anbari (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 19031
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُرِّ ، عَنِ الْخَشْخَاشِ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعِي ابْنٌ لِي ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ : " ابْنُكَ هَذَا ؟ " قَالَ : قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ " . قَالَ هُشَيْمٌ مَرَّةً : يُونُسُ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مُخْبِرٌ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُرِّ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Khushkhash Anbari (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I took my son with me and presented myself before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Is this your son?" I replied, "Yes (I bear witness to it)." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You will not be held responsible for any crime of his, nor will he be held responsible for any crime of yours."
