حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَوْسِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of ‘Abdullah ibn Malik Al-Awsi (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 19017
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّ شَبْلَ بْنَ حَامِدٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْأَوْسِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْوَلِيدَةِ : " إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ ، فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ " وَالضَّفِيرُ الْحَبْلُ ، فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding a slave woman: If she commits adultery, then flog her; if she does it again, then flog her; on the third or fourth time, he said: then sell her, even if you have to sell her for a rope.
Hadith 19018
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ شِبْلَ بْنَ خُلَيْدٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْأَوْسِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْوَلِيدَةِ : " إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ " . وَالضَّفِيرُ الْحَبْلُ.
