Hadith of Ahmar ibn Juzayy (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 19012
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ ، يَقُولُ : حدَّثَنَا أَحْمَرُ بْنُ جَزِيٍّ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَأْوِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّا يُجَافِي مِرْفَقَيْهِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ahmar bin Juz’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would go into prostration, we would feel compassion for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at that time because he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would exert great effort in separating his elbows from his sides.
