It is narrated from Hazrat Ma'iz (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a person asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Which is the most virtuous deed?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "To have faith in one Allah, then jihad, then Hajj Mabroor; among all deeds, these are superior just as the distance between the east and the west." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
