Hadith of the two sons of Qurayzah (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 19002
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنَا قُرَيْظَةَ : " أَنَّهُمْ عُرِضُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ قُرَيْظَةَ ، فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ مُحْتَلِمًا ، أَوْ نَبَتَتْ عَانَتُهُ ، قُتِلَ وَمَنْ لَا تُرِكَ " .
It is narrated from the two sons of Qurayzah that on the occasion of the Battle of Banu Qurayzah, we were presented before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and it was decided that whoever had grown pubic hair would be killed, and whoever had not grown pubic hair would be let go.
