حَدِيثُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Salamah ibn Qays Al-Ashja‘i (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18987
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَانْتَثِرْ ، وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرْتَ فَأَوْتِرْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Salamah bin Qais that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When you perform ablution, clean your nose, and when you use stones for istinja, use an odd number of stones.
Hadith 18988
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَانَثِرْ ، وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرْتَ فَأَوْتِرْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Salamah bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet said to me: When you perform ablution, clean your nose, and when you use stones for istinja, use an odd number of stones.
Hadith 18989
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ : " إِنَّمَا هُنَّ أَرْبَعٌ : لَا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا ، وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ، وَلَا تَسْرِقُوا ، وَلَا تَزْنُوا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Salamah bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet, on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, said: There are four things: Do not associate any partner with Allah, do not unjustly kill any person whose killing Allah has forbidden, do not steal, and do not commit adultery.
Hadith 18990
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، قَالَ : حدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ : " أَلَا إِنَّمَا هُنَّ أَرْبَعٌ : أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا ، وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ، وَلَا تَزْنُوا ، وَلَا تَسْرِقُوا " . قَالَ : فَمَا أَنَا بِأَشَحَّ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنِّي إِذْ سَمِعْتُهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
