Hadith 18985
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَمْكُثُ الْمُهَاجِرُ بِمَكَّةَ بَعْدَ قَضَاءِ نُسُكِهِ ثَلَاثًا " . مَا كَانَ أَشَدَّ عَلَى ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ : حَدَّثَنَا.
It is narrated from Hazrat Alaa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muhajir (emigrant) can stay in Makkah Mukarramah for three days after performing the rites of Hajj.
Hadith 18986
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ هُشَيْمٌ مَرَّتَيْنِ : مَرَّةً عَنْ ابْنِ الْعَلَاءِ ، وَمَرَّةً لم يصل ، أن أباه كتب إلى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَدَأَ بِنَفْسِهِ " .
Ibn Alaa says that once his father wrote a letter to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and at the beginning, he wrote his own name first (as this is also the Sunnah).
