حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Abdullah ibn Abi Habibah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18951
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قال : عبد الله بن أحمد : وَكَتَبَ بِهِ إِلَيَّ قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُجَمِّعُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ : مَا أَدْرَكْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ وَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِمَ وَهُوَ غُلَامٌ حَدِيثٌ ، قَالَ : " جَاءَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا إِلَى مَسْجِدِنَا يَعْنِي مَسْجِدَ قُبَاءَ ، قَالَ : فَجِئْنَا ، فَجَلَسْنَا إِلَيْهِ ، وَجَلَسَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ ، قَالَ فَجَلَسَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ " .
Muhammad bin Ismail says that someone from his household asked his maternal grandfather, that is, Abdullah bin Abi Habibah (may Allah be pleased with him), what incident he remembered from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)? He replied that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to our mosque. We and other people also came and sat with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sat for a while, then stood up and began to pray. On that day, I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) praying while wearing his shoes.
Hadith 18952
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُجَمِّعُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، عَنْ غُلَامٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ قُبَاءَ ، أَنَّهُ أَدْرَكَهُ شَيْخًا ، قَالَ : " جَاءَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقُبَاءَ ، فَجَلَسَ فِي فِنَاءِ الَأُجُمِ ، وَاجْتَمَعَ إِلَيْهِ نَاسٌ ، فَاسْتَسْقَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسُقِيَ ، فَشَرِبَ وَأَنَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ، وَأَنَا أَحْدَثُ الْقَوْمِ ، فَنَاوَلَنِي ، فَشَرِبْتُ ، وَحَفِظْتُ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى بِنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ وَعَلَيْهِ نَعْلَاَهِ لَمْ يَنْزِعْهُمَا " .
It is narrated from a companion who was a slave of the people of Quba that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us in Quba and sat in the courtyard without any canopies. People also began to gather. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for water and drank from it. At that time, I was the youngest and was on the right side of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me the leftover water, which I drank. I also remember that on that day, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer, and he was wearing shoes, which he then took off.
Hadith 18953
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ ، وسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : " جَاءَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَصَلَّى بِنَا فِي مَسْجِدِ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ وَاضِعًا يَدَهُ فِي ثَوْبِهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and led us in prayer in the mosque of Banu Abdul Ashhal. I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that when he went into prostration, he placed his hands inside his garment (shawl).
