Hadith of Dhirar ibn al-Azwar (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18905
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، قَالَا : حدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ ابْنِ بَحِيرٍ ، عَنْ ضِرَارِ بْنِ الْأَزْوَرِ ، قَالَ : بَعَثَنِي أَهْلِي بِلَقُوحٍ وَقَالَ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ بِلَقْحٍة إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهَا ، فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَحْلُبَهَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " دَعْ دَاعِيَ اللَّبَنِ " . قَالَ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ : لَا تُجْهِدَنَّهَا.
It is narrated from Hazrat Dhirar bin Azwar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once my family sent me to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a milking she-camel. I presented myself, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed me to milk her. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Leave enough milk in her udders so that it can be obtained again.
