حَدِيثُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Salamah ibn Qays (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18817
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَانْتَثِرْ ، وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرْتَ فَأَوْتِرْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Salamah bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you perform ablution, clean your nose, and when you use stones for istinja (purification), use an odd number of stones.
