Hadith of Sa‘id ibn Hurayth (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18739
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُهَاجِرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ أَخٍ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ بَاعَ دَارًا أَوْ عَقَارًا فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ ثَمَنَهَا فِي مِثْلِهِ ، كَانَ قَمِنًا أَنْ لَا يُبَارَكَ لَهُ فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Hareeth (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sells a house or property and does not invest its price in something similar, then he deserves that there should be no blessing placed for him in that money.
