حَدِيثُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of ‘Amr ibn Hurayth (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18733
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، وَالْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ سَرِيعٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : " سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ : إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ ، وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Harith, may Allah be pleased with him, that I heard the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, reciting Surah "Idha ash-Shamsu Kuwwirat" in the Fajr prayer, in which "Wal-laili idha 'as'as" is also included.
Hadith 18734
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَاوِرٌ الْوَرَّاقُ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ ، وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Huraith (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon before the people wearing a black turban.
Hadith 18735
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ ، عَمَّنْ ، سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ يَقُولُ : " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَعْلَيْه " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Huraith (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered prayer wearing shoes.
Hadith 18736
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ ، سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْنِ مَخْصُوفَيْنِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Harith, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed prayer wearing knotted sandals.
Hadith 18737
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ : لَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Huraith (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting Surah "Idha ash-Shamsu Kuwwirat" in the Fajr prayer, in which "Wal-laili idha 'as'as" is also included.
