حَدِيثُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْمُصْطَلِقِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of ‘Amr ibn al-Harith ibn al-Mustaliq (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18457
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْمُصْطَلِقِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ غَضًّا كَمَا أُنْزِلَ ، فَلْيَقْرَأْهُ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Harith, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever wishes to recite the Qur'an firmly in the manner in which it was revealed, he should recite the Holy Qur'an as Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, recites it.
Hadith 18458
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، وَإِسْحَاقَ يعني الأزرق ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : بْنُ الْمُصْطَلِقِ ، يَقُولُ : " مَا تَرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا سِلَاحَهُ ، وَبَغْلَةً بَيْضَاءَ ، وَأَرْضًا جَعَلَهَا صَدَقَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umar bin Harith, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, left nothing in inheritance except his weapon, a white mule, and the land which he had given as charity.
