حَدِيثُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Sulayman ibn Surad (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18308
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ صُرَدٍ يَقُولُ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ ، قَالَ يَحْيَى : يَعْنِي يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ : " الْآنَ نَغْزُوهُمْ وَلَا يَغْزُونَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Sulaiman bin Surad (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the Battle of the Trench (upon returning): "Now we will advance upon them and fight jihad, and they will never be able to advance against us again."
Hadith 18309
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ ، قَالَ : انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ ، قَالَ : " الْآنَ نَغْزُوهُمْ وَلَا يَغْزُونَا " .
