حَدِيثُ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ الطَّائِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of ‘Urwah ibn Mudarris al-Ta’i (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18300
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَوْ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مُضَرِّسٍ الطَّائِيُّ ، قَالَ : جِئْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَوْقِفِ ، فَقُلْتُ : جِئْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مِنْ جَبَلَيْ طَيِّئٍ ، أَكْلَلْتُ مَطِيَّتِي وَأَتْعَبْتُ نَفْسِي ، وَاللَّهِ مَا تَرَكْتُ مِنْ حَبْلٍ إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ ، هَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مَعَنَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ ، وَأَتَى عَرَفَاتٍ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ ، لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا ، تَمَّ حَجُّهُ ، وَقَضَى تَفَثَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah bin Mudarris (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once presented myself before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was at Muzdalifah. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have come to you from between the two mountains of Banu Tayy. I have exhausted myself for this purpose and put my mount through hardship. By Allah! I have not left any long stretch of sand where I did not stop. Has my Hajj been accomplished?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever has participated with us in the Fajr prayer today and stood with us until we departed towards Mina, and before that he had stood at Arafat by night or day, then his Hajj is complete and his effort has been accepted."
Hadith 18301
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ لَامٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِجَمْعٍ ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : هَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ ؟ فَقَالَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَنَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ ، ثُمَّ وَقَفَ مَعَنَا هَذَا الْمَوْقِفَ حَتَّى يُفِيضَ الْإِمَامُ ، أَفَاضَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا ، فَقَدْ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ ، وَقَضَى تَفَثَهُ " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah bin Mudarris (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once presented myself before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was at Muzdalifah. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Has my Hajj been accomplished?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has participated with us in the Fajr prayer today and stood with us until he returned towards Mina, and before that he had stood at Arafat by night or by day, then his Hajj is complete and his effort has been accepted." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
Hadith 18302
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ لَامٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . فَذَكَرَهُ . .
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Abi al-Safar, he said: I heard al-Sha'bi narrating, from 'Urwah ibn Mudarris ibn Aws ibn Harithah ibn Lam, he said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. So he mentioned it...
Hadith 18303
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي السَّفَرِ حَدَّثَنِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُضَرِّسِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ لَامٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِجَمْعٍ . فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ رَوْحٍ.
Affan narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Abi al-Safar narrated to me, he said: I heard al-Sha’bi, from ‘Urwah ibn al-Mudarris ibn Aws ibn Harithah ibn Lam, he said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was at Jam‘. He mentioned similar to the hadith of Rawh.
Hadith 18304
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مُضَرِّسٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِجَمْعٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ ؟ فَقَالَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَنَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ ، وَوَقَفَ مَعَنَا هَذَا الْمَوْقِفَ حَتَّى يُفِيضَ ، أَفَاضَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا ، فَقَدْ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ ، وَقَضَى تَفَثَهُ " .
