It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that we were in the state of Ihram at Hudaybiyyah with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The polytheists had surrounded us (and were not allowing us to enter the Haram). My hair had grown very long, and during this time, lice began to fall from my head onto my face. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me and said, "Are the lice troubling you?" I replied, "Yes!" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered, "Shave your head." On this occasion, this verse was revealed: "And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head (necessitating shaving), he should offer a ransom by fasting, or charity, or sacrifice."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that so many lice had infested my head that I thought every hair on my head, from root to tip, was filled with lice. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saw this condition, he ordered me to shave my head, and when the mentioned verse was revealed, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Feed six needy people with three sa’ of dates."
Hadith 18103
It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When any one of you performs ablution and does it well, then leaves with the intention of prayer, he should not interlace his fingers with each other during that time, because he is considered to be in prayer.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us; we were nine men and there was a leather cushion placed among us. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After me, some rulers will come who will speak lies and commit oppression. So whoever goes to them and declares their lies as truth and helps them in their oppression, he has no connection with me and I have no connection with him, and he will not be able to come to me at the Pond of Kawthar. And whoever does not confirm their lies and does not help them in their oppression, then he is from me and I am from him, and he will come to me at the Pond of Kawthar."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that we were in the state of Ihram at Hudaybiyyah with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The polytheists had surrounded us (not allowing us to enter the Haram). My hair had grown very long, and during this time, lice began to fall from my head onto my face. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me and said, "Are the lice troubling you?" I replied, "Yes!" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered, "Shave your head." On this occasion, this verse was revealed: "And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head (necessitating shaving), he should offer a ransom by fasting, or charity, or sacrifice." So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me, "Fast for three days, or give charity of half a sa' of food to six needy people, or offer a sacrifice—whichever is easiest for you."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was sitting in Masjid Nabawi, leaning against the Qiblah. We were a total of seven people, four of whom were our freed slaves and three were of pure Arab descent. Meanwhile, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came for the Zuhr prayer. Upon reaching us, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Why are you sitting here?" We replied, "O Messenger of Allah! We are waiting for the prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) paused for a while, then raised his head and said, "Do you know what your Lord says?" We said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Your Lord says: Whoever performs the prayer at its appointed time, observes it regularly, and does not neglect its due right by considering it insignificant, I promise to admit him to Paradise. And whoever does not pray on time, does not observe it regularly, and neglects its due right by considering it insignificant, then I have no promise for him—if I wish, I will punish him, and if I wish, I will forgive him."
