حَدِيثُ مَوْلًى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of a freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)
Hadith 18076
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ ، عَنْ مَوْلًى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " بَخٍ بَخٍ لِخَمْسٍ ، مَا أَثْقَلَهُنَّ فِي الْمِيزَانِ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، وَالْوَلَدُ الصَّالِحُ يُتَوَفَّى فَيَحْتَسِبُهُ وَالِدُهُ " . قَالَ : " بَخٍ بَخٍ لِخَمْسٍ ، مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مُسْتَيْقِنًا بِهِنَّ ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ : يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ ، وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، وَبِالْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ ، وَبِالْبَعْثِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ ، وَالْحِسَابِ " .
It is narrated from a freed slave companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "How excellent are five things! And how heavy are they in the scale of deeds? La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, and a righteous child who passes away and his father remains patient over it." And he said: "How excellent are five things! Whoever meets Allah believing in these five things will enter Paradise: believing in Allah, in the Last Day, in Paradise and Hell, in being resurrected after death, and in the reckoning."
