حَدِيثُ أَبِي سَيَّارَةَ الْمُتْعِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of Abu Sayyarah al-Muta'i from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 18069
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَيَّارَةَ ، قَالَ : عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ : الْمُتْعِيِّ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ لِي نَخْلًا ، قَالَ : " أَدِّ الْعُشُورَ " قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، احْمِهَا لِي . قَالَ : فَحَمَاهَا لِي . قَالَ : عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ احْمِ لِي جَبَلَهَا . قَالَ : فَحَمَى لِي جَبَلَهَا.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sayyarah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I submitted in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) I have many beehives of honey. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Pay its tithe (ushr)." I submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) Please specify its mountain for me." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) specified it for me.
