حَدِيثُ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Ayman ibn Khuraym (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18044
حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ الْفَزَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ فَاتِكِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطِيبًا ، فَقَالَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، عَدَلَتْ شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ إِشْرَاكًا بِاللَّهِ " . ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : اجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْأَوْثَانِ وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ayman bin Khuraym (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon and said three times: O people! False testimony is equal to associating partners with Allah. Then he recited this verse: So avoid the filth of idols and avoid speaking falsehood.
