Hadith 17940
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sa’ib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should pick up his companion’s belongings, neither in seriousness nor in jest, and if any of you finds his companion’s staff, he should return it to him.
