حَدِيثُ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Qays ibn Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 17891
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : فَحَدَّثَنِي الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ ، قَالَ : " وُلِدْتُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْفِيلِ ، فَنَحْنُ لِدَانِ وُلِدْنَا مَوْلِدًا وَاحِدًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Qais bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were born in the Year of the Elephant; in this regard, both of us were born in the same year.
