حَدِیث الحَكَمِ بنِ سفیَانَ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Hadith of al-Hakam ibn Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 17620
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورٌ . وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، وَزَائِدَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ أَوْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَالَ ، وَتَوَضَّأَ ، وَنَضَحَ فَرْجَهُ بِالْمَاءِ " . قَالَ يَحْيَى فِي حَدِيثِهِ : " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَالَ وَنَضَحَ " . حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أَهْلَ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، فَذَكَرُوا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : وَرَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ ، وَوُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . وقَالَ غَيْرُهُمَا : عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Al-Hakam or Hakam (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) urinate, then perform ablution, and then sprinkle some water on his private part. Shareek (may Allah have mercy on him) says that he asked the family of Hakam bin Sufyan, and they informed him that he had not met the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
Hadith 17621
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَهْلَ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ فَذَكَرُوا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ: وَرَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ وَوُهَيْبٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وقَالَ غَيْرُهُمَا: عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, he said: I asked the people of al-Hakam ibn Sufyan, and they mentioned that he did not meet the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: And it was narrated by Shu'bah and Wuhaib from Mansur from Mujahid from al-Hakam ibn Sufyan from his father that he saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. And others said: from Mansur from Mujahid from al-Hakam ibn Sufyan, he said: I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
