Hadith of Qays ibn 'Aidh (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 17602
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ ، وَحَبَشِيٌّ مُمْسِكٌ بِخِطَامِهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Qais bin Aidh (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon on a she-camel whose ear was pierced, and an Abyssinian was holding its rein.
