Hadith of Abu Sa'id ibn Zayd, from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 17504
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، قَالَ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّتْ بِهِ جِنَازَةٌ فَقَامَ " .
Imam Sha'bi, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I bear witness that I heard from Hazrat Abu Sa'id bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once a funeral passed near the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up.
