When he saw the Seal of Prophethood on the blessed back of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) Should I not treat you? For I am a physician." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You are a companion, the physician is Allah." Then he asked, "Who is this with you?" He replied, "This is my son and I am a witness over him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Remember! He is not responsible for any of your crimes, nor are you responsible for any of his crimes."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Rimtha (may Allah be pleased with him) that I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he was delivering a sermon, saying: "The hand of the giver is upper. Keep giving to your mother, father, siblings, and step by step to your close relatives." Meanwhile, some people from Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' arrived. Seeing them, an Ansari said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) These are the same Yarbu' people who killed such and such person." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said twice, "Remember! No one can be held responsible for the crime of another person."
