حَدِیث عمَارَةَ بنِ روَیبَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Hadith of Umara ibn Ruwaybah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 17219
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، قَالَ : رَأَى بِشْرَ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ رَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَقَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَمَا يَقُولُ إِلَّا هَكَذَا ، وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Ammarah bin Ruwaybah that once he saw Bishr bin Marwan raising his hands for supplication during the sermon on Friday, so he said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) doing like this, and he pointed with his index finger while saying this.
Hadith 17220
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عِمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَنْ يَلِجَ النَّارَ أَحَدٌ صَلَّى قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا " ، قِيلَ لِسُفْيَانَ : مِمَّنْ سَمِعَهُ ؟ ، قَالَ : مِنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Amarah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: That person will never enter Hell who offers prayer before sunrise and before sunset.
Hadith 17221
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، أَنَّ بِشْرَ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، فَقَالَ عُمَارَةُ بْنُ رُوَيْبَةَ : مَا زَادَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى هَذَا ، وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ammarah bin Ruwaybah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he saw Bishr bin Marwan raising his hands (for supplication) during the Friday sermon, so he said: I have seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he would only do like this, and saying this, he pointed with his index finger.
Hadith 17222
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ هِشَامٌ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عِمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ مَنْ صَلَّى قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا " وَعِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ قَالَ عَفَّانُ : مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ فَقَالَ : أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ ، أَشْهَدُ بِهِ عَلَيْهِ ، قَالَ : وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ ، لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُهُ فِي الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْهُ ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِيهِ . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amarah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: That person will never enter Hell who offers prayer before sunrise and before sunset. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
Hadith 17223
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ " ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Shaiban narrated to us, from Abdul Malik, from Ibn Umara ibn Ruwaybah al-Thaqafi, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He will not enter the Fire," and he mentioned something similar.
Hadith 17224
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ عِمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ ، وَبِشْرٌ يَخْطُبُنَا ، فَلَمَّا دَعَا ، رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ عِمَارَةُ : يَعْنِي قَبَّحَ اللَّهُ هَاتَيْنِ الْيَدَيْنِ ، أَوْ هَاتَيْنِ الْيُدِيَّتَيْنِ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ ، إِذَا دَعَا يَقُولُ هَكَذَا ، وَرَفَعَ السَّبَّابَةَ وَحْدَهَا .
