Hadith 16990
It is narrated from Hazrat Ruifa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Hunain, I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon and said: “It is not lawful for any man who believes in Allah and the Last Day to irrigate another’s field (wife) with his water. The spoils of war should not be bought or sold before distribution. No one should wear any cloth from the spoils of the Muslims in such a way that when it becomes old, he returns it there, and no one should ride any mount from the spoils of the Muslims in such a way that when it becomes weak, he returns it there.”
Hadith 16991
It is narrated from Hazrat Ruwaifi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever sends blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and says: O Allah, grant him an honored station with You on the Day of Resurrection, then my intercession will become obligatory for him.”
Hadith 16992
It is narrated from Hazrat Ruwaifi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not lawful for any person to irrigate (i.e., have intercourse with) another's child with his water (i.e., semen), and no man should have intercourse with a slave woman until she has her menstrual period or it becomes clear that she is pregnant."
Hadith 16993
It is narrated from Hazrat Ruifa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade intercourse with a slave woman before her menstruation period, and also with a pregnant woman until she gives birth.
Hadith 16994
It is narrated from Hazrat Ruwaifi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had the honor of participating in jihad with the Prophet (peace be upon him). Among us, a person would take a she-camel from another on the condition that he would give half of his share from the spoils of war to the owner of the she-camel, until among us, some only had a saddle and some had fruit and its covering.

Shiyam bin Baytan says that Hazrat Muslamah bin Makhlad (may Allah be pleased with him) was appointed over the lowlands, and he entrusted a responsibility to Hazrat Ruwaifi’ bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him). So we traveled with him from “Shareek” to “Kawm Alqam.” Then Hazrat Ruwaifi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) said that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to participate in jihad, and one of us would take a camel from another on the condition that he would give half of his share from the spoils of war to the owner of the she-camel. Sometimes, one of us would have only a spear, and another would have fruits and feathers. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, “O Ruwaifi’! It may be that you live a long life, so inform the people that whoever ties a knot in his beard, or hangs a string around his neck, or cleans himself with the dung or bone of an animal, then it is as if he has shown disassociation from the Shari’ah revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).”

Khunash San'ani says that we fought jihad with Hazrat Ruwaifi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) against the people of a town called Jarbah near Maghrib. Then he stood up to deliver a sermon and said: O people! I say to you the same thing that I heard from the Prophet (peace be upon him). On the occasion of the conquest of Hunayn, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon and said: "It is not lawful for any man who believes in Allah and the Last Day to irrigate another man's field (wife) with his own water. The spoils of war should not be bought or sold before distribution. No one should wear any cloth from the spoils of the Muslims in such a way that when it becomes old, he returns it there. Hadith 16998
It is narrated from Hazrat Ruifa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should sell gold for gold only in equal weight, and should not have intercourse with a married woman among the captives until she has completed her waiting period.

Khunash San'ani says that we fought jihad with the people of a town called Jarbah in the west along with Hazrat Ruwaifi' (may Allah be pleased with him). He distributed it among us, then he stood up to deliver a sermon and said: It is not lawful for any man who believes in Allah and the Last Day to irrigate another man's field (wife) with his "water" until she has her "days" (menstruation). Because I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: It is not lawful for any person to irrigate another's offspring with his "water."
Hadith 17000
Shiyim bin Bitan says that Hazrat Muslamah bin Makhlad (may Allah be pleased with him) assigned Hazrat Ruwaifi' bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) a responsibility in a low-lying area of land. So we traveled with him, then Hazrat Ruwaifi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "O Ruwaifi'! It may be that you live a long life, so inform people that whoever ties a knot in his beard, or hangs a string around his neck, or performs istinja (purification) with the dung or bone of an animal, then Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is free from such a person."
Hadith 17001
Abu Al-Khair says that Hazrat Muslamah bin Makhlad (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the governor of Egypt, offered Hazrat Ruwaifi' (may Allah be pleased with him) the position of collecting 'ushr (tax), so he said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say that the tax collector will be in Hell.
