Hadith 9946

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قََالَ : قََالَ رَسُولُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ " ، قَالَ بَهْزٌ : " يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
