Hadith 9939

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : " سَجَدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ , وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he performed the prostration of recitation (sajda tilawat) with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the verse of prostration in Surah Inshiqaq and Surah Alaq.
