Hadith 9926

قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ ، قََالَ : وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ، قََالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّان ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ , فِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : غُسْلَ الْجَنَابَةِ ، ثُمَّ رَاح ، فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَّبَ بَدَنَةً ، وَمَنْ رَاحَ فِي السَّاعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَّبَ بَقَرَة ، وَمَنْ رَاحَ فِي السَّاعَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَّبَ كَبْشًا , قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَقْرَنَ ، وَمَنْ رَاحَ فِي السَّاعَةِ الرَّابِعَةِ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَّبَ دَجَاجَةً ، وَمَنْ رَاحَ فِي السَّاعَةِ الْخَامِسَةِ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَّبَ بَيْضَةً ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ ، أَقْبَلَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الذِّكْر " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever takes a bath on Friday and sets out for the Friday prayer, he receives the reward like one who has sacrificed a camel. The one who comes in the second hour is like one who has sacrificed a cow. The one who comes in the third hour is like one who has sacrificed a ram. The one who comes in the fourth hour is like one who has sacrificed a chicken. The one who comes in the fifth hour is like one who has given an egg in charity. Then when the Imam comes out, the angels turn to listen to the remembrance.
