Hadith 9922

قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ , وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ، قََالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ : غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7 ، فَقُولُوا : آمِينَ , فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلائِكَةِ ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the Imam says "ghayril maghdubi 'alayhim walad-dallin," the follower should say Ameen upon it, because whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven.
