Hadith 9909

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ ، قََالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مَوْلًى لِقُرَيْشٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ " نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمَغَانِمِ حَتَّى تُقْسَمَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ بَعْدَ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ : وَيَعْلَمُ مَا هِيَ ، قَالَهَا يَزِيدُ : آخِرَ مَرَّة ، وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يُحْرَزَ مِنْ كُلِّ عَارِضٍ ، وَأَنْ لَا يُصَلِّيَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَّا وَهُوَ مُحْتَزِمٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale and purchase of spoils of war before their distribution and the sale and purchase of fruits before they are safe from every calamity. He also forbade performing prayer before tightening the waist belt.
