Hadith 9884

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَحَجَّاجٌ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ ، أَوْ قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ : " أَمَا يَخْشَى ، أَلَا يَخْشَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ ، أَوْ صُورَتَهُ صُورَةَ حِمَارٍ ، إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ ، وَالْإِمَامُ سَاجِدٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Does the person who raises his head before the Imam, while the Imam is still in prostration, not fear that Allah Almighty may turn his head or his face into that of a donkey?
