Hadith 9881

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : رَفَعَهُ مَرَّةً ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ بَعْدُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ ، أَوْ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ ، فَمَنْ هَاجَرَ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ أَوْ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ فَمَاتَ دَخَلَ النَّارَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible to sever relations for more than three days. Whoever severs relations with his brother for more than three days and dies in that state will enter Hell.
