حَدَّثَنَا
حَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ
صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْءَمَةِ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم :
" مَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيِّتًا فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ ، وَمَنْ حَمَلَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever bathes a deceased person should also perform ghusl himself, and whoever carries the bier should perform wudu.
