حَدَّثَنَا
يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم :
" مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا ، يَمُرُّ عَلَيَّ ثَالِثَةٌ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ ، فَأَجِدُ مَنْ يتَقْبَلُهُ مِنِّي ، إِلَّا أَنْ أَرْصُدَهُ فِي دَيْنٍ يَكُونُ عَلَيَّ " .
It is narrated with the previous chain that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: If the mountain of Uhud were to turn into gold for me, I would be pleased to spend it in the way of Allah, and not even three days would pass over me with a single dinar or dirham remaining with me, except for that which I keep aside to pay off a debt that is due upon me.
