حَدَّثَنَا
يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ
مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم :
" إِنَّ الْمِسْكِينَ لَيْسَ بِالَّذِي تَرُدُّهُ التَّمْرَةُ ، وَلَكِنَّ الْمِسْكِينَ الَّذِي لَا يَسْأَلُ النَّاسَ ، وَلَا يُفْطَنُ لَهُ فَيُعْطَى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The needy is not the one who is turned away with one or two dates or one or two morsels; the real needy is the one who does not ask people and others do not know of his needs so that they may spend on him.
