Hadith 9772

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ إِسْرَائِيلُ , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا لِي عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَا قَعَدَ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا حَفَّتْ بِهِمْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ، وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ السَّكِينَةُ ، وَتَغَشَّتْهُمْ الرَّحْمَةُ ، وَذَكَرَهُمْ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ " .
It is narrated as testimony from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever a group of people sits together to remember Allah, the angels surround them, tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, and Allah mentions them in the assembly on high.
