Hadith 9770

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ أَفْلَحَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْأَغَرِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْمَدِينَةُ مَنْ صَبَرَ عَلَى شِدَّتِهَا وَلَأْوَائِهَا ، كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever endures the hardships and difficulties of Madinah Munawwarah with patience, I will bear witness and intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection.
